Karen Hovorka is a Director in the Talent Acquisition Solutions Advisory consulting practice at Futurestep, a Korn/Ferry Company.
Karen is a versatile talent management practitioner with deep expertise in talent acquisition strategic and operational assessment, full-lifecycle talent acquisition delivery, assessment methodologies, workforce planning, learning and development (including extensive training delivery), employee engagement, and HRIS implementations.
Prior to Futurestep Consulting, she was the head of talent acquisition strategic assessment at Accenture for high growth emerging markets in Asia Pacific. She conducted strategic and operational assessments and led complex talent acquisition transformation efforts that resulted in improved strategic and operational effectiveness.
Prior to this, Karen was a Talent Acquisition and HR leader in both Global Fortune 500 and local start-up emerging firms.
In addition, Karen is an experienced trainer, creating and delivering numerous trainings on talent acquisition strategies, assessments, and more to talent acquisition staff and business executives throughout North America, Asia Pacific, India, and Europe.
Karen is recognized for her deep functional subject matter expertise and strong consulting abilities partnering with client leadership to identify and analyze issues and propose and implement achievable solutions. She has extensive experience as a project leader both onsite and with geographically dispersed teams.
Karen earned a B.S. from Cornell University and an M.S. Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania.
