Ms. Broida received a Masters of Arts degree from Columbia University in Organizational Psychology, a Bachelor of Science degree in Product Design Engineering from Stanford University, and a CPCC designation in Co-Active Coaching from The Coaches Training Institute.

The recipient of numerous community leadership awards, Ms. Broida has served on the board of, or in an advisory capacity with the Threshold Foundation; Be Present, Inc.; Seeds of Peace; Facing History & Ourselves; ADL; Tahoe Rim Trail Assn; and NARAL.  In 2011, she was the keynote speaker for the TRTA annual fundraiser, and for a Stanford University alumni event.

Ms. Broida is married and raising 3 young children to be happy, conscious, contributing community members. She continues to participate in the nonprofit world, and is proud to be a founding member of the Lake Tahoe SummerFest Board.
