Alvaro Pascotto is a private investor and lawyer. Mr. Pascotto has been involved in numerous
investments, both in Italy and the US, and serves as a general partner of various family-related
partnerships. He is a partner and board member of The Sage Group, LLC, an independent Los Angeles-
based investment bank that provides mergers and acquisitions and other corporate finance advisory
services to private and public branded consumer and retail companies. He was a founder of Kairos
Partners SGR, an independent, Italian-based asset management company that was acquired by Julius
Bär. As an attorney he is acknowledged as an international expert in business aviation, whose clients
include many Fortune 500 companies and well-known entertainment and business personalities. Mr.
Pascotto was of counsel to Irell & Manella and to Morrison & Foerster. He received his J.D. from the
University of Rome, is a member of the State Bar of California, and is also admitted to the Italian Bar. He
is a member of the Tax Committee of the NBAA, lectures at a variety of aviation and tax seminars, and
publishes articles on a regular basis. Mr. Pascotto is a FAA licensed pilot, with interests in two jet
aircraft. He co-founded and was a major investor of XOJET, Inc. and served on its board of directors
until the recent sale to Vista Global Holding. He also played a significant role in a family-owned FAR Part
135 operation located in Van Nuys that owned and operated five jet aircraft.

Mr. Pascotto received his J.D. from the University of Rome. He is a member of the State Bar of California and is also admitted to practice in Italy. Mr. Pascotto was the co-founder of the law firm of Gallavotti, Honorati & Pascotto, with offices in Rome and Milan and was Of Counsel to Irell & Manella LLP from 1994 to 2003 and to Morrison & Foerster LLP from 2003 to 2012. Mr. Pascotto holds the highest AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been named to the Southern California Super Lawyers list recurrently since 2012 and ranked in the Top 100 list of attorneys.
