program description

Classical Tahoe welcomes esteemed vocalist Frederica Von Stade and pianist Jake Heggie to the stage. The joy continues with Mozart and his genial, graceful partnership between strings and a flashy French horn. The quintessence of soulful French impressionism is painted in music for flute and harp; and an intense, passionate piano quintet fulfills the evening with a fiery finish.
