Classical Tahoe: Three-week music festival returns July 28

Wait, what? I know those other legendary summer music festivals, but what is Classical Tahoe, why is it on this list, and why haven’t I heard of it?

I’m glad you asked.

Classical Tahoe, formerly Lake Tahoe SummerFest, is a celebration of classical music in one of the world’s most beautiful places. Each summer since 2011, an assemblage of musicians from around the world, led by conductor and artistic director Joel Revzen, has convened in Incline Village to perform a wide variety of orchestral and chamber music concerts, and this July 28 through Aug. 12, the tradition continues.
