Brubeck Jazz Summit Frequently Asked Questions
Who:
The Brubeck Jazz Summit accepts online applications from highly motivated students who are ENTERING their sophomore, junior, or senior years in high school. Graduating seniors are also eligible to apply. International students between the ages of 16 and 19 years are also encouraged to apply.
Where:
Sierra Nevada University, which was recently acquired by the University of Nevada, Reno, in the community of Incline Village on Lake Tahoe’s north shore in Nevada.

When:
Sunday, July 10 – Saturday, July 16, 2022
Program Pricing:
$2,000 includes tuition, housing with linens, and meals on-campus, Sierra Nevada University, (Airfare not included)
Financial Aid:
A limited number of financial aid scholarships are available. Please email your interest in a scholarship to info@classicaltahoe.org. Financial aid deadline: January 30, 2022.
Application Deadline:
March 15th, 2022
Instruments and Equipment:
Students should bring their own instruments and equipment, with the exception of drums, bass, and amplifiers which will be provided by Brubeck Jazz Summit.
Transportation to Reno/Tahoe:
The arrival airport is Reno-Tahoe International Airport, where Brubeck Jazz Summit staff will meet students and transport (a 45 minute drive) to Sierra Nevada University in North Lake Tahoe. Reno-Tahoe International Airport offers 23 non-stop flights serviced by 9 airlines, with convenient connections from virtually any city in the US and abroad.
Students and parents driving to Tahoe will be given a timeline for arrival.

Health & Safety
