
Krisha Montmorency
Orchestra Librarian
Krisha Montmorency joined Classical Tahoe as Orchestra Librarian starting in the 2019 season. She served as Music Librarian for Festival Napa Valley for three summers and has assisted as a librarian with the San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Ballet, the Sing for America Foundation, and the California Symphony. Currently, she is also the Orchestra Librarian for the Santa Cruz Symphony.
In addition to her work as an orchestra librarian, Ms. Montmorency served on the youth orchestra management teams for the Santa Rosa Symphony and the San Francisco Symphony. She is a veteran international tour manager, having managed a tour to China with the American Philharmonic and two European tours for the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra.
A native of Napa, California, Ms. Montmorency is also a lifelong violinist and a regular performer with the Santa Cruz Symphony. When she is not preparing or performing music, she enjoys the Epicurean life – cooking, entertaining, wine tasting, traveling, and enjoying art museums. She lives in Grass Valley, California with her husband, composer and conductor Gabriel Sakakeeny.
