Ms. Rhys’ first career was in the performing arts; singing opera, concerts, and acting in straight theater, where she worked on projects with with wonderful creators from Meredith Monk to Arthur Miller. She then moved to the other side of the stage lights as a presenter of lectures and a writer for arts organizations.
