Madylon is the Founder of Classical Tahoe, our world-class celebration of the arts that enriches the cultural, educational, and community vitality of the Lake Tahoe region. Madylon, past chair of the Board of Directors and current member of the executive committee, actively supports other non-profit organizations including Incline Village Community Hospital, Nevada Museum of Art, Sierra Nevada University, Smith Center for the Performing Arts, Tahoe Fund, and Thunderbird Lake Tahoe. Madylon is the CEO of CHEMEON Surface Technology LLC, a global leader in providing environmentally responsible replacements for hexavalent chrome and other toxic chemical compounds, and developing advanced corrosion protection for light metals. CHEMEON is committed to innovative research, development, customer service and solutions.
Prior to CHEMEON, Dr. Meiling was VP Development at SNU and recognized for a collaboration with NIAF (National Italian American Foundation) for the creation of a unique, student sponsorship program for 35 students from the University of L’Aquila, Italy, whose school was destroyed by earthquakes in 2009. Madylon’s career as a Corporate Consultant and Executive Coach, provided programs in leadership development, team learning, emotional intelligence, and corporate initiatives for profound change. She designed and facilitated programs for Fortune 500 companies including Avaya Communications, Aventis Pharmaceuticals, AT&T, Cigna, Global Crossing, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Lucent Technologies, Merck, Pfizer, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and others.
Madyon received her B.A. in education from Brooklyn College; her M.Ed. from Rhode Island College; and her Ph.D. from the University of Tulsa. Madylon has twenty-five years of experience in the field of education, including teaching, administration, facilitation, curriculum development, and research. Dr. Meiling completed post-doctoral studies in group dynamics and is qualified as a corporate coach by the International Coach Federation.
Madylon is married and lives with her husband Dean Meiling at Lake Tahoe. They enjoy outdoor activities, particularly hiking, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving and golf; and living in the natural, inspiring, entrepreneurial community of Lake Tahoe and the amazing culinary, sports, and arts community of Las Vegas.
