Madylon Meiling, Ph.D., is the Chief Executive Officer of CHEMEON Surface Technology, a global leader in providing environmentally responsible replacements for hexavalent chrome and other toxic chemical compounds, and developing advanced corrosion protection for light metals, committed to research, development, customer service and solutions.
Madylon has experience as a Corporate Consultant, Executive Coach, Development Officer, Business Department Chair, and Adjunct Professor, with extensive training in leadership development, team learning, emotional intelligence, organizational culture, and corporate initiatives for profound change. She has outstanding entrepreneurial, leadership and coaching skills, focused on developing collaborative partnerships for creating breakthroughs in individual performance, effectiveness, and team accomplishments.
Madylon has worked with Allstate, Avaya Communications, Aventis Pharmaceuticals, AT&T, Cigna, Fidelity, Global Crossing, IBM, I Have a Dream Foundation, Johnson & Johnson, Lucent Technologies, Merck, Pfizer, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Sierra Nevada College, and others.
Madylon is committed to giving back to her community. She is the Founder of Classical Tahoe, a unique and extraordinary 3-week classical music experience in Lake Tahoe. Madylon is the Board Chair for Pet Network Humane Society, and actively supports other non-profit organizations in Incline Village, NV.
Madylon received her B.A. in education from Brooklyn College; her M.Ed. with a focus on curriculum development from Rhode Island College; and her Ph.D. in education and leadership from the University of Tulsa. Madylon has twenty-five years of experience in the field of education, including teaching, administration, facilitation, curriculum development, and research. Dr. Meiling completed post-doctoral studies in group dynamics and is qualified as a corporate coach by the International Coach Federation. Madylon is also certified in mediation and conflict resolution for civil and family matters.
Madylon is married and lives with her husband Dean Meiling at Lake Tahoe. Their daughter Tracey, a professional dancer and choreographer, owns and teaches classes at The Stage in Las Vegas. Their son Scott, a gourmet chef, owns and manages a successful B & B in Saugatuck, MI. Madylon and Dean have four grandsons. Madylon loves outdoor activities, particularly hiking, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving and golf; and living in the natural, inspiring, entrepreneurial community of Lake Tahoe.
