Marna Broida started her professional life in corporate finance in New York, as well as strategy consulting in London. However, her engineering background soon drew her back to the product design field and she started a medical product design consulting firm.
After a decade of product design, Ms. Broida left engineering to find a career that enabled her to connect more with people. She received a Masters in Organizational Psychology and developed a national workshop and coaching practice to address women’s financial empowerment, with an emphasis on embracing abundance. Some of her corporate clients included Wells Fargo Bank, Rochester Community Foundation, Threshold Foundation, and More Than Money.
Ms. Broida received her BS in Product Design Engineering from Stanford University, her MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, and a CPCC designation in Co-Active Coaching from The Coaches Training Institute. The recipient of numerous community leadership awards, Ms. Broida has served on the Board of, or in an advisory capacity with, the Threshold Foundation; Be Present, Inc.; Seeds of Peace; Facing History & Ourselves; ADL; Tahoe Rim Trail Assn; and NARAL.
Passionate about the Arts and about Tahoe, Ms. Broida is pleased to have helped create Classical Tahoe, and is honored to now serve as its Board Chair. The mother of 3 Tahoe kids who have attended Classical Tahoe concerts since they were preschoolers, she actively encourages all families to bring their kids to our concerts where they can experience classical music in an intimate, accessible Tahoe setting.
