Michelle Calhoun
Box Office Concierge
2021 marks Michelle’s first year with Classical Tahoe. Multi-talented, personable, and a dedicated customer service and theater professional, Michelle brings over five years of box office experience by way of various theater organizations, including the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival (2011-2018).
A renaissance woman, Michelle writes, directs, costumes, occasionally teaches, and watches too many movies to count. Leading with a strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude, Michelle is flexible, resourceful and a strategic thinker—all of which have served her well, both on and off the stage. She is also co-founder of Sisters Three Productions, a theater group dedicated to creating female-centric productions, including Get Bent: A Gender-Bent Musical Revue and The Human Perspective.
Other interests include reading, writing, but not arithmetic, and being the proud mother of three cats and one teenaged goth daughter (it’s anyone’s guess as to who causes her the most trouble). Although her most recent experience with classical music has only been listening to her daughter practice the cello, Michelle is excited to be joining the Classical Tahoe team this season.
