After splitting their time between Incline Village and Mill Valley, California for several years, Susan Pridmore and her husband Myles recently made the happy decision to make Tahoe their only home. Lake Tahoe’s quiet grandeur, the pull of year-round outdoor activities, and the warm embrace of a friendly community made the decision inevitable, and their labradoodle, Rika, is thrilled. So are their 2 adult step-children and 7 grandchildren.

Before “retiring”, Susan had a successful career in sales, marketing, and deal management, working for large corporations including General Electric, Honeywell and Chevron. For 18 years, she created and led multi-disciplined teams developing energy efficiency and renewable energy projects for public agencies. Following retirement, she entered culinary school in San Francisco, and launched a blog – The Wimpy Vegetarian – for people wanting to add more vegetarian meals to their family menus. Since then, she has served as the Major Event Chair on the San Francisco Professional Food Society, and held cooking and team-building classes which she hopes to continue here in Tahoe. Her recipes have been featured in Parade, Community Table, and numerous online publications.

Susan is thrilled to be part of the Classical Tahoe community, and joined the Classical Tahoe Board this year to further that wonderful connection. She helped to create the Black Tie Snack Boxes this year, and is very excited about helping to foster some fun events over the next year for everyone to enjoy and learn more about this amazing organization and talent.
