Susan Schwerd was born into a family with a deep love and appreciation for music of all genres. Her passion for classical music was sparked as a young child when her grandfather took her to performances at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. She went on to study classical piano and guitar for many years.

Susan is a psychotherapist and a global health and wellness entrepreneur. She maintains her professional license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Maryland. Prior to relocating to Nevada in 2014, Susan spent 15 years in private practice, providing individual and group therapy to adults and adolescents. She also had contracts with several corporations and organizations to provide work-force consulting and anger management programs. Susan was actively involved in creating a local peer group for mental health providers and served on the board of the Maryland chapter of the national professional association for clinical counselors. She received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Temple University.

In her previous career, Susan spent 10 years as Director of Human Resources for a start-up which evolved into a medium-sized corporation with 450 employees and nine subsidiaries by the time she departed. As one of only five key employees when she joined Targa Group, she was called upon to wear many hats and hold a seat on the board. She served as liaison with banking and legal professionals during all of the mergers and acquisitions, as well as heading Compliance and Ethics task forces.

Susan’s background as in the corporate arena provided the necessary resources and experience to achieve success as coach/consultant to individuals and organizations engaging her services for work-related issues, ranging from burn-out and loss of motivation, stress management and resilience, empowering sales professionals and coping with life transitions, to building skills to enhance productivity and peak performance.
