Currently Chief Operating Officer for CHEMEON Surface Technology in Minden, Nevada, Ted Kelly brings expertise in brand development, multimedia sales marketing strategies, team building, competitive analysis, sales promotion and presentation.

Prior to his 2014 move to Nevada, Kelly’s three decades at the forefront of music programming, marketing and media sales range from major market and international morning radio personality to executive management, sales, marketing and promotion policy and procedure and execution for some of the world’s largest media companies in New York, Washington D.C. and globally.

As Senior Vice President of Global Content Promotions and Events for WorldSpace Satellite Radio Global and US XM Channels, he was personally responsible for dozens of satellite radio firsts, negotiating global concert rights and developing benchmark events and logistics for the first global concert broadcasts live from Europe, New York City, South Africa, India and Singapore with daily broadcasts to troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the creation of the “UPop Sessions at Abbey Road.” He managed an international staff from studios in Johannesburg, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., London, Singapore, India and Dubai.

Prior to that he was Managing Director and Executive Vice President of Intervox Communications, a streaming media and global broadcast consulting firm in Washington, DC; founder of ImYourMusic.com, for which he was responsible for presenting and securing first round financing from Swiss Bank Julius Baer; National Vice President of Marketing and Communications for CBS Radio Networks and Westwood One, the world’s largest media syndication company, leading CBS Radio Networks and Westwood One into digital media with the first streaming sports, news, and entertainment programming and a 60% increase in press and public relations visibility.

Kelly is the former Chairman of the Radio and Television committee for the International Radio Television Society (IRTS) in New York/London, and has been an invited guest keynote and panelists for conferences in the U.S., Tunisia, Italy and United Kingdom. He was the first American broadcaster invited by the British Phonographic Institute (BPI) to participate in the nomination and selection process for the Brit Awards. He is also the recipient of an Emmy® Award honor for CBS TV voice-over. He is credited for the first radio station compilation music CD to chart on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums.

He is recognized by Association of National Advertisers as a Marketing Industry Leader of the year, published journalist in AND Magazine and the founder of FedMil.com (www.fedmil.com), the Business of Federal Military News blog and Tres Magazine (www.tresmagazine.com) Tahoe Reno Entertainment Society.
