White Nights Gala Features Three-time Grammy Award-winning Branford Marsalis
Benefit Performance for New Young Musicians and Premier fundraising event for Classical Tahoe, July 8, 2018 on the shores of Lake Tahoe
The 2018 White Nights Gala, a benefit event for Classical Tahoe, features a performance by three-time Grammy Award-winning jazz saxophonist Branford Marsalis. Set for July 8, 2018 at the lakefront estate of Kern Schumacher in Incline Village, Nevada, the event promises to be more thrilling than ever: Marsalis is joined by the wunderkind pianist Peter Dugan, a delicious repast by Colin Smith of Roundabout Catering and an auction with one-of-a-kind experiences – all to benefit arts, culture and learning in Lake Tahoe. Early bird pricing is in effect through May 31.
Funds raised at the Gala support Classical Tahoe Music Institute, a new and interactive, multi-generational institute for community involvement and education. A major grant from the Firefly Scientists’ Foundation matches qualified donations 4-to-1 for this new community education initiative.
Along with the performance and silent auction, the White Nights Gala boasts a delicious meal featuring Bently Ranch dry-aged, grass fed locally raised beef followed by an exhilarating live auction with spectacular packages. At this summer affair guests are encouraged to wear white and enjoy a fine dinner in an intimate lakefront setting.
