Krisha Montmorency joined Classical Tahoe as Orchestra Librarian starting in the 2019 season. She served as Orchestra Librarian for Festival Napa Valley for three summers and as Orchestra Librarian for the San Francisco Opera for two seasons. Krisha has assisted as librarian with the San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Ballet, and the California Symphony. Currently, she holds the positions of Orchestra Librarian for the San Santa Cruz Symphony and the Oakland Symphony.
A native of Napa, California, Krisha is also a lifelong violinist and a regular performer with the Santa Cruz Symphony. When she is not preparing or performing music, she enjoys cooking, entertaining, traveling, and art museums. She lives in Nevada City, California with her husband, composer, conductor, and fine arts photographer Gabriel Sakakeeny.
